The backyard is huge! Most houses in this area are on smaller lots with tiny backyards or just a side yard, but we loved the large, flat and fully fenced outdoor space that comes with this home. The extended patio can be covered so you can enjoy it all year round, too. 

• Our friends never had any issues parking thanks to the long driveway - there's space for plenty of cars! Street parking nearby was never a challenge, either. The 2-car garage gave us ample space to park and also to store outdoor gear, toys and garden tools. 

• You can catch beautiful views of downtown, Mount Rainier and other mountains at all times of day! The downtown lights at night are especially impressive and vibrant. 

• Since the home is perched up on a hill, it's super quiet and private! We rarely got much street noise inside the home. It also stays very bright all day and all year since it's higher up than some other homes, and the large windows fully take advantage of all that light! Custom top down/ bottom up blinds throughout the home lend well to creating more privacy when you want it. 

The kitchen was designed so well for daily life but also for gathering and entertaining. The center island is perfect for informal gatherings, and there's so much space all around - enough for multiple cooks! 

• This neighborhood is so friendly and welcoming, while also being super convenient and close to everything. There are tons of kind neighbors, dogs and cats out and about at all times of day, and numerous options for restaurants and coffee nearby. Lots of great parks, too! Our favorite spots are Broadcast Coffee and the recently updated Pratt Park. 

Each floor has at least one bathroom, which you never really think about as being desirable until you realize how convenient it is to not have to go up or down stairs constantly. 

• Numerous flexible spaces in the home really come in handy - we used the space off of the kitchen as a studio! Whether you need a home office, movie den, play room, a reading nook, whatever - this home has the space for it! 

• The great room main level is where we spent the most time. It stays nice and bright all day and has super-high ceilings, and the balcony off of the kitchen extends the living space outside, too. The layout of this home was very thoughtfully designed.
